ARUSHA NATIONAL PARK – ARUSHA – DAY 1 ARUSHA

After breakfast, you’ll check out of your lodgings in Arusha or Moshi and drive to the park. You have three options for how you want to enjoy Arusha National Park, making your trip there adaptable.

Game Drive: A half- or full- game drive through the park is available. Along the way, you’ll see famous park features like the Momella Lakes and the Ngurdoto Crater, also referred to as “Little Ngorongoro.”

Canoe Safari: For an additional fee, you may take a guided canoe safari out on the Momella Lakes where you can see buffalo, giraffes, hippos, and bush-buck.

Walking Safari: Take a guided walking safari through the park to stretch your legs. You may anticipate seeing infinite acres of forest while on your walking safari, which is home to black and white colobus monkeys, zebras, buffalos, and a variety of antelopes. More than 400 different bird species, such as the Crowned Eagle, Lanner Falcon, and Levaillants Cuckoo, will also be visible to you.
