Tanzania’s oldest and most well-known national park is Serengeti. You will get to see this UNESCO World Heritage Site throughout this tour. The annual movement of almost six million animals through the Serengeti is legendary. You can see up close the species you’ve only seen in National Geographic, including thousands of eland, topi, kongoni, impala, and Grant’s gazelle in the Serengeti, which offers an unusual game-viewing experience in all of Africa.


Day 1: Arrival.

We will pick you up from Kilimanjaro Airport or Arusha Airport and take you to your hotel in Arusha if you chose the optional airport transfers. briefing prior to the trek at your Arusha hotel. You should aim to get there at least one before the hike begins. We’ll spend to getting ready for the hike. We’ll also examine your gear and rent any additional gear at a nearby store.


Day 2: Hotel to Momella gate to Miriakamba Hut

Drive from Arusha to Momella Gate takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Once at the gate we will finish all the procedures and depart for the trek. The trek takes you through places from where you can catch breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro and the renowned Momella lakes. Trekkers encounter wildlife like Bushbucks, Cape Buffaloes, Giraffes, and Warthogs during this . We continue a short distance until we reach the Miriakamba hut.

Day 3: Ascent from Miriakamba Hut to Saddle Hut

To, we make our way up the crest of the saddle via a rocky trail. You may see the magnificent Meru crater, the ash cone, and Little Meru while traveling. There is a possibility that we will come across animals like Cape Buffaloes and the black and white Colobus monkey. Our ascent will come to a conclusion at Saddle Hut. After you have settled into the camp, we will leave for a little hike to Little Meru (3810m) in order to help you adjust to the altitude before returning to Saddle Hut.

Day 4: Ascent from Saddle Hut to Socialist Peak to Miriakamba Hut

We have a light dinner to keep our energy levels high and get up shortly after midnight. After finishing our dinner, we begin the last ascent to Socialist Peak. We will be climbing a high slope and through stony and gravelly rocks. The hardest part of the walk both physically and mentally is this section. When you reach the summit, you will marvel at the breathtaking views of the Ash cone and the Meru Crater. Over the rocky slope, there is a potential that one will see wildlife such as mountain Reedbucks and Klipspringers.

We start our descent from the summit by going straight down to the Miriakamba hut.

  • Hiking Time: 10-12 hours
  • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner


Day 5: Descent from Miriakamba Hut to Momella gate.

Following breakfast, we continue the ascent to the Momella Gate. This ’s distance was altered because we chose to descend through a different path to the south. Additionally, we will pass through the breathtaking Fig Tree Arch.

To return to your Arusha hotel, a Kilimanjaro Ascent car will be waiting for you at Momella gate (around 1 hour and 30 minutes).

Day 6: Departure.
