During the yearly wildebeest migration, almost two million wildebeests, zebras, and antelope travel over 450 kilometers across the Serengeti Plain, unaware of the danger posed by lions, cheetahs, and other animal predators that are searching for prey. While waiting for herbivorous species to cross the swollen Mara River and enter the Masai Mara Game Reserve from Serengeti National Park, observe gigantic Mara River crocodiles.

On its approach to Kenya’s Masai Mara Game Reserve, the wildebeest migration river crossing travels through the Lobo area (north of Central Serengeti National Park) and the Wagakuria area (remote northern Serengeti National Park along the Mara River).
