After breakfast, transfer to Arusha airstrip for your flight to Serengeti North which will depart around 7am and arrive at 10am for a game drive in Northern Mara. Serengeti, among other incredible wildlife and stunning views is famed for the annual migration of over 1.5 million wildebeest and hundred thousands of zebras, a frenzied bout of territorial conquests and mating happening from July-October. Witness an actual survival of the fittest as these animals plunge through crocodile-infested waters. The wildebeest produces more than 8,000 calves daily before the 1,000 km (600 mile) pilgrimage begins again.

Day 3: Serengeti North (Kogatende).

Following breakfast, we go to Serengeti North to watch the great migration. Beginning in August as the massive herd begins to graze in the area, river crossings occur at Kogatende. Game viewing is at its greatest from August to October, and daily river crossings are practically guaranteed. While the herds frequently cross the river in both directions after rains bring about new grass, there is no discernible movement..

Day 4: Serengeti North (Kogatende).

We will go on a full- wildlife drive to see the huge migration in the Mara area after breakfast. The Wagakuria region has a particularly high density of local animals. The Mara River is the main feature, and there is a good probability that you will see the herds cross it to the north on one and back to the south on another . Please be aware that seeing a crossing can be very challenging and occasionally depends on luck. A herd is seen adjacent to the river, but they don’t decide to cross until a few s later. Similar to Kenya’s Masai Mara Game Reserve, this area is breathtaking with kopjes, woodland, riverine flora, and wide plains.

Day 5: Serengeti National Park (Central Seronera)

We leave the camp after breakfast and travel to Serengeti Central, Tanzania’s most well-known and well-established national park and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The yearly migration of the wildebeest is what makes the Serengeti famous; six million hooves, along with 300,000 Thomson’s gazelles and more than 200,000 zebra, pound the wide grasslands. Even so, the Serengeti offers some of the best game watching in Africa, with huge herds of buffalo, more solitary elephant and giraffe packs, as well as countless eland, topi, kongoni, impala, and Grant’s gazelle.

Day 6: Serengeti Central (Central Seronera).

We will go on a full game drive in the Central Serengeti after breakfast. In addition to the major species, the Serengeti is home to colorful agama lizards and rock hyraxes, which scurry across the surfaces of the park’s remote granite koppies. Almost 500 bird species have been recoded, from the odd secretary bird of the open grassland and the numerous variety of dung beetles to the black eagles that soar effortlessly above the Lobo Hills.

Day 7: Serengeti Central (Cental Seronera)

This is a second full- game drive in the Serengeti National Park, which is renowned for its abundant resident species, especially the “big five,” which are the five most coveted hunting trophies:

Lion: The Serengeti is thought to have the largest number of lions in Africa, in part because there are so many different kinds of prey animals there. The lion population in this habitat is above 3,000.

African Leopard: With a population of about 1,000, these elusive predators are most frequently spotted in the Seronera area but are also found throughout in the national park.

African Elephant: The herds are mainly found in the park’s northern sections and are now rebounding from population lows brought on by poaching in the 1980s.

Many people believe the African Buffalo to be the most dangerous..
