MID RANGE WILDLIFE SAFARIS

The most popular safari option in Tanzania is still the mid-range safari (tent camp safaris), which offers the best wildlife viewing and overnight accommodations.
The region’s abundant wildlife is the focus of tent camps (Mid-Range), which are located in some of Tanzania’s most isolated and undeveloped wilderness areas. They typically provide a variety of safari experiences with an emphasis on seeing wildlife in its natural habitat so that visitors can experience the magic of the African bush.
It is incorrect to equate staying at a tented camp safaris (Mid-Range) with “camping” in any way. All of the tented safari camps in our collection provide at least spacious canvas rooms with actual beds and private bathroom facilities (including full plumbing). Due of their remote locations, the majority of tented safari camps lack telecommunications, internet connection, and air conditioning. Tented safari camps can range from being quite laid back to extremely opulent and luxurious.
A tented camp safari’s (Mid-Range) defining characteristic is that the accommodations have canvas walls (compared to a safari lodge as lodges has bricks). As they are typically located further into the bush, there is less physical separation between you and the African environment, which strengthens your sense of connection to it. At night, you can hear animal noises and smell the clean, sweet air of Africa.

Include Hot Air Balloon in Wildlife Safari Itineraries.
Hot air ballooning is a unique way to experience the African wildlife. The balloon goes up very high and you can see a lot of the wildlife from up high. The balloon ride is also a lot of fun and you can see a lot of different landscapes.
A flight above the Serengeti costs $599 per person (this includes the $40 Tanapa ballooning charge). This price covers transportation from your hotel or campsite to the balloon’s departure site, the flight itself, and a champagne breakfast (after landing). The flight could last anything from 50 to 70 minutes.
